  History

Standard Blueprint was established in the early 1900’s. We began in a small storefront located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska providing blueprinting services to the Omaha and surrounding communities. Standard Blueprint was responsible for introducing to the marketplace the revolutionary Diazo process, more commonly known as “blueprinting.” Standard Blueprint worked with many of today’s Fortune 500 Companies when they were just beginning to develop. Today’s staff experiences a sense of accomplishment and history every time an early 1900’s “Linen Cloth” original from Union Pacific Railroad is brought in for reproduction. Down in the corner of that original in bold black letters is the name Standard Blueprint.

Over the last century we have continued to be a leader in our industry. Introducing new technologies to our clients and our competitors. Bringing to the table digital printing for superior qaulity, data management, network design and support, and web presence. This forward thinking and implentation is what made us update our name to Standard Digital Imaging.

    *Machine sales,  SDI is an authorized KIP America large format machine dealer. KIP America is the leader in large format B/W reproduction. Representing a full line of machines, SDI can custom tailor a cost per copy, rental or purchase plan for a machine to fit your company’s needs. We employ a full service maintenance department to back up each machine placement.

    *Supplying, our customers needs- Representing a full line of OCE imaging supplies, SDI has the media you are looking for. Our product line can fulfill the needs of any machine make or model, from engineering rolls to art papers for large format color plotters, to many varieties of toner.

New Technology

Standard Digital Imaging is always looking to bring new tools and utilities to the market to better serve their clients. In the beginning Standard Blueprint introduced the Diazo process to the local market. Later, under the name of Standard Digital Imaging, the introduction of a complete digital solution revolutionized the printing process. Continuing this effort to be on the forefront of technology, Standard Digital Imaging offers a total online plan sharing and data management solution, www.standardshare.com. Along with our groundbreaking accounting utility add-on, Plot Sync' for Small Business Accounting 2006, and the add-on Plot Sync' for the Microsoft Office Accounting 2008 series of products.

Among these new technologies and methodologies are desktop support, network infrastructure, web design & email hosting, and data management. With the expertise we have from implementing these in-house and with our reprographics clients we built our Plot Sync' Team which consists IT professionals with experience in many fields required to keep up and excel in the digital and online world we now live in.
